I believe the complexities of the human experience are best served by being a welcoming and positive force for others. I strive to create a comfortable environment where clients can unapologetically be themselves. During our work, we will explore new alternatives, build resilience to life’s stressors, and find purpose in the little things. A cornerstone of my approach is not only to assist in decision-making but to help you feel empowered in doing so. Our time together is yours!
I treat children (8+), adolescents, and adults using several modalities. I enjoy employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches such as Positive Neurobiology as vehicles to assist clients in reaching their goals. As a parent myself, I understand the difficulties that often feel out of our control when raising children. This empathy has driven me to support parents in their journey to establish healthy relationships with their kids while breaking generational cycles as well. Another passion of mine is supporting active-duty military personnel and their family members. Being in a military family myself, I understand the unique circumstances that often feel overwhelming for these members and their families. As a clinical social worker, it is my responsibility to develop holistic treatments based on your individual needs and preferences. This encompasses not only your mental health but your physical, spiritual, and emotional needs as well. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with family and being a part of nature as much as possible. My hobbies include learning new homesteading techniques, gardening, cooking, and camping! If you are ready to take that next step and see what this whole therapy thing is all about, look no further. Grab a warm cup of coffee, a comfy chair, and let’s chat! I look forward to learning more about you and seeing how I can assist you in your journey! |
