| Therapist Intro | I’m an LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity-affirming therapist who offers individual, family, and relationship therapy in a warm, collaborative environment. I specialize in eating disorders, identity exploration (including gender, sexuality, and neurodiversity), and helping clients better understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck. My goal is to support you in creating meaningful, sustainable change—whether that means healing past wounds, navigating a life transition, or simply becoming more connected to your authentic self. I take a relational, collaborative approach, meaning that I see myself as a guide on your journey rather than the expert in your life. Together, we’ll work to better understand the patterns that may be causing you distress, and help you identify how to reduce shame, increase self-awareness, and make lasting changes. I pull from a range of therapeutic modalities to tailor our work to your unique needs. This includes Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and Attachment Theory, which help you understand your relationships with others and yourself. I also incorporate DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help with emotional regulation, stress tolerance, and thought pattern exploration, particularly in the treatment of eating disorders and other challenges. I see clients virtually and in person in Durham, NC. If you're ready to dig deeper and explore what's getting in the way of living more fully and freely, I’d love to connect. |
