Therapist Intro Hi, I'm Danielle! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) offering therapy to adults located in North Carolina. I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating eating disorders, body image distress, life transitions, anxiety, depression, borderline personality disorder (BPD), and PTSD, with a particular focus on childhood trauma and sexual assault. I have a particular passion for working with college and graduate students and individuals feeling overwhelmed by financial stress or the emotional toll of today's social and political climate. I'm a relational therapist, which means I care a lot about how we work together. The relationship we build and how safe, understood, and supported you feel with me is the most important part of the work we do. My practice is rooted in passion, authenticity, and a deep respect for lived experience. I welcome clients of all races, genders, sexualities, body sizes, and backgrounds. In sessions, I blend evidence-based modalities such as ACT, CBT, DBT, and MI with warmth, humor, and a practical approach. As a recovering perfectionist, a Type-A human, first-generation American, and first-generation college graduate, I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help or quiet that constant inner critic. Healing doesn't require perfection, it only requires courage to begin. I have worked in diverse clinical environments, including Children's Hope Alliance, Holly Hill Psychiatric Hospital, Carolina House Eating Disorder Treatment Center, and private practice. All of my sessions are via telehealth on a secure platform. I offer flexible scheduling to help therapy fit more easily into your life. Whether you're in your home or parked somewhere private, you deserve support that meets you where you are - literally and emotionally. Outside of sessions, you'll find me on hanging out with my partner and dog, curled up with a good book, or trying a new recipe! Therapy with me isn't about perfection; come as your are - sweatpants, coffee and snacks, comfort items, and pets are all welcome in this space! I offer a free 15-minute consultation; a chance to connect, ask questions, and see if working together feels like the right fit. I am looking forward to hearing from you and seeing how I can support you on your journey. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Appalachian State University and my Master of Social Work from North Carolina State University—proudly cheering on both the Mountaineers and the Wolfpack!
