| Therapist Intro | Starting therapy is an act of courageous self-care in an often overwhelming world. Wherever you are in your life, I will work hard to co-create a safe space for you to explore, grow and become who you want to be. My approach changes with each individual client I see, but generally involves mindfulness, curiosity, kindness, care and even humor. I have over a decade of experience as a trauma-informed therapist, with training in modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion, Internal Family Systems, Positive Psychology, EMDR and DBT. I am particularly interested in life transitions, grief and loss, chronic illness and supporting those fighting for social justice and equity. I work with adults ages 18 and older. |
